Type Locality and Naming
Metangula Basin (Mozambique). A formal lithostratigraphic unit recognized within the Karoo-aged Metangula Basin, which straddles the border between Mozambique and Tanzania. Upper formation in Ecca Gr in Metangula Basin (Mozambique)
